Lawbox is what is commonly called a “legaltech” or “legal technology” start-up: a young innovative company developing technological solutions for the legal market.
Lawbox started out by developing a webshop on which entrepreneurs can buy and personalise legal documents (www.lawbox.be). After that, Lawbox started commercialising contract automation software to larger companies (www.lawboxpro.com).
Commercial enterprise: Legal technology company
The tasks of the Trainee include inter alia:
- Business development (i.e. selling) of our contract automation software (www.lawboxpro.com) in the Trainee's own country;
- While in Belgium (2-3 months), the Trainee will get to know our business, the prospect of their local market, send out prospection emails and conduct conference calls to sell or set up meetings;
- Upon their return, the Trainee will have meetings they set up while in Belgium;
- Community management, i.e. posting and interacting on social media, creating content (blogs, posts, etc.) (30% of the time)
EUR 800.00 per Month
English - Good
The remuneration of €800/month is only for the traineeship in Belgium. After the Trainee returns back to their respective country, they will be paid on commission (i.e. a percentage on the sales, because we can’t check the amount of time you actually put in).
We are looking for a Trainee with an entrepreneurial mindset who is interested in technology and innovation. The area of law you specialise in is of little importance, but we have a small preference for business law (since our software is usually used by major business law firms).
We are looking for a Trainee from a country in which there is no (or few) local provider(s) of a contract automation software and that is willing to continue his or her business development tasks a few months after his or her return (full-time not necessary).
It is sufficient to be able to speak English and your own native language.
Experience working in a major law firm (or with legal tech software) is a plus.
The Trainee will be working closely with our current team of two professionals and be integrated in a broader team of four lawyers with whom we share an office. We have a sunny terrace, flexible working hours and cookies.
